How Much Does PPF Cost in Spain? Complete 2026 Price Guide
One of the most common questions we receive at Garaje Royal is simply: how much does PPF cost? The answer depends on several factors. This guide will walk you through all of them clearly.
PPF Price Ranges in Spain (2026)
Here are realistic price ranges for professional PPF installation in Spain. Note that prices below €800 for any front package typically indicate low-quality film, poor installation, or both.
- Bumper only: €400–€700
- Front package (bumper + bonnet + mirrors): €1,200–€2,000
- Full front (bumper + full bonnet + wings + A-pillars + mirrors): €1,800–€3,000
- Full body — compact/hatchback: €3,000–€5,000
- Full body — SUV/saloon: €4,000–€6,500
- Full body — supercar/exotic: €5,500–€10,000+
What Drives the Price?
Film brand and quality
There is a significant quality difference between budget films and premium films like XPEL Ultimate Plus, SunTek Ultra or 3M Pro Series. Budget films yellow faster, have inferior self-healing, and are more likely to lift at edges. The premium film costs 30–50% more per metre, but lasts twice as long and looks far better over time.
Vehicle complexity
A simple hatchback with flat panels is much faster to wrap than a Lamborghini Huracán with its complex angles, carbon fibre panels and aerodynamic elements. Complexity = time = cost.
Paint correction before installation
PPF should never be installed over damaged paint. Any installer who skips this step is cutting a corner that will cost you later — defects visible under film cannot be corrected without removing the film entirely. Expect to add €200–€500 for proper paint correction before installation.
Coverage area
More coverage = more film material + more installation time. Full-body PPF on a large SUV can use 20+ metres of film.
Red Flags: What to Watch Out For
- Any full-body quote under €2,500 on a standard car
- No mention of paint correction before installation
- Installer cannot tell you the film brand and model
- No written warranty from either installer or manufacturer
- Installation done outside in a garage or parking lot (requires a clean environment)
Is PPF Worth the Investment?
For any vehicle worth over €30,000, yes — almost always. A stone chip on a Mercedes E-Class costs €500–€1,500 to repair properly. A stone chip on a Porsche 911 in Paint to Sample can cost €3,000+ for a perfect match. One prevented chip on a premium vehicle essentially pays for an entire front PPF package.
